Complete your garage

Your garage is created by the Mekaplus team at your request (see Request an account). After you choose your password, Mekaplus takes you to the Let’s finish setting up your garage screen: the account becomes active as soon as the requested information is filled in and the terms are accepted.

Complete the information

At the top of the screen, the N items left to provide list ticks off as you go. It covers what makes your garage identifiable and presentable to your customers:

• the legal notices: company name, legal form, share capital (for companies), register (RCS, RNE or RM), SIRET, intra-community VAT number (unless VAT-exempt small business) and registered office address;
• the contact details: the garage’s email and phone;
• the consumer mediator (name and website), mandatory towards private customers;
• acceptance of the terms of service.

Fill in the Details and Legal notices blocks as in Settings › Garage identity (same fields, saved the same way). Only people who can manage the garage information (the Administrator) complete this screen; other members see Your garage is finishing its setup and get into Mekaplus as soon as the garage is active.

Until the garage is active, only this screen, Account security and Sign out are available.

Accept the terms of service

The Terms of service section covers the terms of service and the data processing agreement for your customers’ data (GDPR, article 28): Vehitis processes this data on behalf of your garage, which is responsible for it.

1. Enter the name and capacity of the signatory (for example “manager”): you declare that you act for the garage.
2. Tick the acceptance box, which shows the versions in force.
3. Choose Accept the terms.

The texts are provisional for now: the final version will be submitted to you and you will be asked to accept it again. The acceptance is recorded with its date and can no longer be changed. It is not possible in a support session.

Activation is automatic

As soon as the last piece of information is saved, the garage becomes active with no further action and Mekaplus takes you to the home screen. The Mekaplus team can also activate a garage by hand in a special case, and suspend it (see Suspended garage).

An active garage does not mean that invoicing is enabled: issuing numbered invoices in Mekaplus still requires the Mekaplus team to enable invoicing (see Invoicing).

Demonstration account

A demonstration account is active from its creation: it has no legal information or terms to complete, and its garage contains sample customers, motorcycles, jobs and invoices. It never enables real invoicing.

When the terms change

When a new version of the terms of service is published, the garage administrators see it:

• at the next sign-in, a banner invites you to read and accept: you keep working normally;
• at the sign-in after that, if the new version is still not accepted, an acceptance dialog appears and cannot be closed: changes are refused until it is accepted, your data stays readable, and Sign out is the only other way out.

A garage that never recorded an acceptance is treated the same way. Other members see neither the banner nor the block. A support session is never blocked.

Choose an existing garage

If you are already a member of one or more garages (for example after accepting an invitation), the Your garages screen lists them: choose the one you want to open. A suspended garage cannot be opened. If no garage is linked to your account, the screen invites you to contact the Mekaplus team.

Garage plan

A garage starts on the plan chosen by the Mekaplus team at creation (Basic by default); they can move it to the Advanced plan (see Features). Both plans are paid.

Suspended garage

When the garage you open has been suspended, Mekaplus shows the This garage is suspended page. You can choose another garage if there is one, or sign out. To reopen the garage, contact Mekaplus support.
